Louenhide started the way a lot of good things do — two friends, a gap in the market, and a plane to Hong Kong. Brisbane-based Lou Kendall and Heidi Bailey founded the brand in 2006 when they noticed that well-designed bags at a reasonable price were almost impossible to find. Nearly twenty years later, they're still running it together, still designing every piece themselves, and it still shows. We stock Louenhide because our customers actually use these bags — they're not precious about them, they're not fragile, and they don't look like they cost twice as much as they do.
