It is a small round bowl with fluting pressed down the outside, a shallow curve and a neat unglazed foot. The colour moves through it, denim blue with plenty of speckle, going pale and sandy at the rim where the glaze thins, with flecks of rust scattered right through. Just 9cm across and 5cm high, so it stacks and stores easily. We keep imagining a whole stack of them.
