Robert Gordon

Robert Gordon pottery has been in the family since 1945, when June Dyson set up her studio in Black Rock, Melbourne. Her son Andy carried the craft into a tin shed in Gembrook in 1978, and what started with a potter's wheel and Sunday markets has grown into Australia's largest production pottery — still family-run, now in its third generation, still making over 300,000 pieces a year from their Pakenham factory.
